Meitheal Irish Trad Orchestra performed at the National Concert Hall on August 25th.

An impressive array of performers on fiddles, flutes, harps and all the native instruments. The ensemble was directed by Tom Doorley and performed a new suite of work composed by him.
This is an annual Meitheal reunion event. The supremely talented Liam O Maonlaí who toured the world with Hothouse Flowers gave a special solo recital and also performed his song Saved with the orchestra.

This lunchtime concert is part of the ESB BEO Celtic Music Festival.
