Máire Breatnach is a musician of exceptional calibre. Having obtained B.A., B.Mus. and M.A. degrees at U.C.D., she lectured there and in the College of Music, D.I.T. before embarking on a freelance career. She has performed and recorded with Riverdance, Christy Moore et al. As a record producer, she has worked with Sonny Condell, Johnny McEvoy and many more. TV and film credits include Glenroe, In the Name of the Father etc. Recently, she has featured on chart-topping album Tears of Stone (The Chieftains), which subsequently won a Grammy award. Michel
Sikiotakis is a French native of Greek extraction. He is one of the leading
exponents of Irish flute on the Continent. He competed successfully at fleadhanna
in the mid-80s and over the last twenty years has slowly become the mover &
shaker on the Paris musical scene. An imaginative and innovative player, he has
led of a number of bands including Taxi Mauve, Shamrock and the 10-piece super-group
Mugar. He has several albums to his credit, as producer, performer and arranger. |

from the 1920s and 30s has had a huge influence on his personal playing style

Adrian Scahill from a renowned musical family from Corofin, Co.Galway. He is a lecturer in Music in Queens University, Belfast and Maynooth College. He is a leading exponent of the Button Accordion and a professional pianist. He has been involved with Ragus the show and The Haypenny Bridge, which is currently running in Dublin. | ||
| Born in West Limerick but now residing in Co Clare, Tim Collins has been playing concertina since the age of 12. Highly regarded as an excellent tutor, he has taught concertina world wide including Ireland, UK, France, Germany, the U.S. and Japan. He has recorded and toured internationally with composer Liam Lawton as well as the multi award winning Kilfenora Ceili Band. Having graduated from the University of Limerick in 2003 with a first class honours MA in Music performance, the release of Tim's debut Solo album Dancing on Silver in June 2004 is regarded by critics as one of the finest concertina recordings to date.
