In memory of the young fiddler Joseph Browne,
a bursary is awarded annually
to a young musician enabling him/her to attend Meitheal. This year's
recipient has been selected by the organizers of the Joseph Browne Spring
School of Music. Her name is Roisin Broderick, 14 year old concertina
player from Corofin, Tuam, Co. Galway.
